Middle Harbour Yacht Club's Lazy Dog Victory

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—Speaker I congratulate Mosman resident Shaun Lane and Quentin Stewart for successfully claiming back-to-back national MC38 titles. The event was one of the first that the Middle Harbour Yacht Club has hosted since June and was a huge success. The MC38 Australian National Championship is a yearly competition. This year's event also included competitors from the Middle Harbour Yacht Club, the Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club and the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia. The championship event took three days, with Lazy Dog being declared the winner by a single point. Our Middle Harbour Yacht Club is one of Australia's largest and is a national leader in its sail training and education program. I would also like to commend chairman Rob Aldis for the club's MC38 title and its success in getting back to the water. Congratulations to Shaun Lane and Quentin Stewart for winning back-to-back titles, and I wish them and the Middle Harbour Yacht Club all the best in their future endeavours.
