Mosman Rowers Celebrate 110th Birthday

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—Speaker I acknowledge the Mosman Rowers Club, who this year celebrated their 110th birthday. Founded in 1911, Mosman Rowers is one of Sydney's oldest sports clubs and harbour destinations. The club's rich history is what makes Mosman Rowers so great and loved by so many. It is an icon of North Shore and Sydney Harbour. Mosman Rowers is a place of character and has always been a club for its community. Today the club has grown into more than just rowing, to include a wide range of water sports such as paddling and kayaking, serving delicious food, and it is a place to enjoy great camaraderie with friends and family. The broad member base is a testament to the club's virtue and inclusiveness and is ever-growing. I congratulate Kathrina Doran, Club President, for her commitment and passion and commend the board directors and members for upholding the club's substantial legacy and achieving this significant milestone. I wish the club every success moving forward in the many more years to come.
