Scots Kirk Mosman Secures Funds to Install New Play Equipment

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore)

—Speaker I congratulate the Scots Kirk Presbyterian Church in Mosman for their successful application to secure funds through the Community Building Partnership program 2021. This funding will allow the church to install a children's playground within the church grounds. Scots Kirk Mosman is a popular place amongst the community here in North Shore. They hold weekly services and have a youth group bringing together like-minded people to connect and reflect. The Presbyterian church is focused on community and inclusivity and plays a vital role in providing pastoral support. The installation of the children's playground with equipment to suit young children through to 12-year-olds is a great project for a Community Building Partnership grant. Churches serve as a safe and comforting place that bring the community together, so having a playground makes perfect sense for families. Congratulations to Reverend Brett Graham, the management committee, and the local congregation for their work and commitment to secure this well-deserved funding. I wish them all the very best with the project and a happy and safe Christmas.
