St Vincent De Paul Winter Appeal

Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore) (15:56:36):

I recognise the extraordinary efforts of my local community, which has helped donate over 60 hampers for the St Vincent de Paul Winter Appeal. The winter appeal assists with providing emergency accommodation and financial support, as well as material assistance, for those who may be fleeing domestic violence or who are sleeping rough on our streets. With the help of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Primary School Clifton Gardens and The Classic Cupcake Co in Mosman, our community has rallied to provide a range of donations, from personal items to essential pantry items and hamper treats. Thank you to Anna Eden and the team at The Classic Cupcake Co for allowing the shop to be a drop‑off point for the community. I am sure that, as hamper items were dropped off, more than a few of their delicious cupcakes left with some happy customers, just as they did with me and my staff. A special thank you to all the parents, staff and students at Blessed Sacrament, especially principal Leanne Meehan, for coordinating the appeal, putting everything together and delivering the hampers to St Vincent de Paul.
