Crows Nest Festival

I congratulate the team at Crows Nest Mainstreet on the resounding success of this year's Crows Nest Festival, which was held last Sunday. Sydney put on fabulous weather and a bumper crowd of over 30,000 people enjoyed the day. The annual festival is a much-loved event in our local community calendar. There were over 150 stallholders, including me, along with two stages, a food alley and the newly added Circus Playground. There was also the ever-popular petting zoo, pony rides and all-day live entertainment from our local schools and big music bands. There was something for everyone to enjoy. I give a big shout-out to Denise Ward and the Crows Nest Centre for providing face painting to children and for their work in supporting and connecting our communities through their programs and services. I thank JoEllen Henderson and the entire team at Crows Nest Mainstreet for their hard work in putting together a fabulous event once again and for keeping everything running smoothly on the day for the entire community.
