North Sydney Service Centre off to a flying start

More than 800 customers have already made use of the new Service NSW Centre in North Sydney during its first fortnight in operation, accessing a range of face-to-face services and transactions with a 98 per cent satisfaction rating.

Minister for Customer Service and Digital Government Victor Dominello joined Member for North Shore Felicity Wilson today to officially open the new Service Centre at 213 Miller Street, North Sydney.

“We have created a one-stop shop for more than 1000 Government transactions in the heart of the North Sydney business district,” Mr Dominello said.

“Cost of living is a significant issue impacting all communities, and I encourage residents to make an appointment with a trained Savings Specialist. They are available to provide free assistance in navigating the Savings Finder program and boosting household budgets.

“Customers will receive one-on-one support on the more than 70 government rebates and vouchers available and receive help applying for the programs they may be eligible for. The average saving across the state is about $760.”

Ms Wilson said the new Centre is a game changer for the community.

“I have delivered on my commitment to our community to transform the old service model and locals can now enjoy access to a modern Service NSW in the centre of our business hub,” Ms Wilson said.

North Sydney Service Centre is the sixth of 10 new metropolitan Service Centres in Sydney to be delivered and the 113th centre opened across NSW.

The centre’s opening hours are 9 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday.

North Sydney is a cashless Service Centre with EFTPOS, credit or debit cards accepted.
