Mosman High School
Ms FELICITY WILSON (North Shore) (18:20:02):
As Mosman High School students returned to start term 3, there was such a sense of anticipation and excitement. Why is that so, you ask? Recently Mosman High became the recipient of a long-awaited new building that opened this term to welcome staff and students through its doors. We have modernised a school that is already recognised for its outstanding academic record and creative arts programs. The results are simply amazing. The new build features 16 new classrooms, a new theatre, a new multipurpose hall, a new library and new outdoor spaces, including the incredibly impressive rooftop court and staff and administration facilities. It is wonderful to see that these assets are public education assets. I take this opportunity to thank Principal Susan Wyatt and all the parents and the P&C association who, over the years, worked tirelessly to get this project off the ground. The exterior's design is sympathetic to the vibe of the Mosman village while inside is a modern education precinct. Together we have re-envisaged Mosman High as a modern place of learning for generations to come.
TEMPORARY SPEAKER (Mr Clayton Barr):
