Vale Don Brinkworth

—It is with great sadness, I acknowledge the passing of Don Brinkworth, a long time member of Mosman Branch within the Liberal Party of Australia. Don joined the Mosman Branch on the 16th of January 1989 and became the President of the branch in the mid-nineties. For most of his time in the branch Don was a FEC/SEC delegate and a regular attendee and active participant in FEC/SEC meetings. As a dedicated Liberal Party member Don participated in all House of Representatives preselections, including being a member of the pre-selection committee for The Hon Tony Abbott's preselection for Warringah in 1994. As many of our party members are during elections, Don was always a hardworking booth captain at Mosman High School for many state and federal elections. I acknowledge all effort and contributions that Don contributed to our local Liberal Party and I extend my sincerest condolences to Don's family, friends and the members of Mosman Branch. My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.
