Ollie and Carter Clean Up at Swimming Championships

—Speaker, I congratulate Ollie and Carter McGee on their outstanding achievement at the 2023 School Sport Australia Swimming Championships in late August. Not only were they selected to represent their school but were part of the NSW team competing at the national competition. Both Ollie, ten, and Carter, twelve, swam incredibly well with Carter winning silver in the one-hundred metre butterfly, bronze in the two-hundred metre individual medley, and gold in the NSW freestyle and NSW medley relays. Ollie won gold in the fifty metre backstroke, silver in the fifty metre butterfly and one-hundred metre freestyle, bronze in the fifty metre freestyle, and gold in the NSW freestyle and NSW medley relays. I am sure like many in this place we can agree this is an incredible effort on behalf these boys to swim an array of distances and strokes and place. Ollie and Carter, I know that your family, friends, and school community are incredibly proud of your amazing efforts. Once again congratulations Ollie and Carter, you are true champions in every sense of the word.
