2023 North Shore Christmas Card Competition

—Each year I invite our local primary schools to take part in the annual North Shore Christmas Card Competition. At the conclusion of the competition and after much deliberation between my office staff we pick the best artwork to feature on my Christmas cards which I then send out to members of our local community. Like every year the judging of this competition is never easy, particularly when Christmas is so dear to my heart. I would like to congratulate this year's winner Harri Sampson from Neutral Bay Public School who drew a wonderful Christmas scene in the snow complete with Mr and Mrs Claus, Frosty the Snowman, Rudolf and of course some presents under a Christmas tree. I would also like to recognise our four highly commended artworks; Amity Tam from Loreto Kirribilli, Emily Bangs from Mosman Public School, Ayush Gandedkar from North Sydney Demonstration School, and Annelise Hughes from Queenwood. Congratulations to all of our local students who took part in the competition, it truly is one of my favourite times of year seeing the high level of artwork that is presented.
